Meet Us

Dr. Kiona was born in Hawai’i and manages her own homes in Austin, Dallas, and Cuba. She received multiple degrees from The University of Texas, becoming the first doctor in her family. During her 12 years of academia, she took many mental health breaks in the form of travel, leading her to rent out her house while she was away and eventually making it a business that would be Hosts2Go. After her tenant at university, she decided to start her own education platform, which is what she does full-time today. Her passion is finding new off-the-beaten-path places to explore and making friends abroad.

Maria is a Peruvian-born international sales expert who currently manages water-front homes in Florida and Texas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Richmond University in London, and then emigrated to Zimbabwe where she headed marketing and operations for one of southern Africa’s largest solar power companies. Years later, she landed in Austin, TX working in digital marketing and sales for a number of start-up enterprises when she followed her passion for people and began hosting guests as a side hustle. This was the precursor to the successful business that became Hosts2Go. Her passion is spreading love through food and wine.
